Description
Alleged negligent exposure to uranium. Where a claimant had failed to establish the presence of depleted uranium both in his body and in the defendant's workplace to support his claim for damages for personal injuries as a result of alleged exposure to uranium during the course of his employment, there was no basis for any suggestion that a breach of duty on the part of the defendant could be responsible for the claimant's illnesses. In any event, the claimant's claim was barred by a compromise reached by the parties in previous proceedings that had addressed substantially similar issues.
